Voting Underway in Indiana

After talking to a handful of people this morning, those voters say they waited about ten minutes to cast their ballots at locations in Lake and Porter Counties... too soon to say whether lines will grow longer as the day goes on. The polls are open until 6-o'clock tonight, Central and Eastern Standard Time... which means in Indianapolis and South Bend and most of the state, Hoosiers were going to the polls an hour before the Region and will be finishing up an hour before we do. Six counties in the Region are on Central Time, and six counties in the southwestern corner of the state are Central as well, with the other eighty Indiana counties on Eastern Time year-round.
