The National Weather Service in Chicago has issued a Winter Weather Advisory for all of northwest Indiana effective now until 4am CST Thursday. Northwest winds gusting up to 35 miles per hour may create blowing and drifting snow which may reduce visibilities to one-half mile or less at times. Snow showers will continue through early this evening with up to one inch of snow accumulation possible. On top of that, a Wind Chill Advisory begins at 7pm CST this evening (Wednesday) and continues until noon CST Thursday. Temperatures are anticipated to drop to 20 below to 25 below zero this evening and remain under 20 below zero through late Thursday morning.
