The La Porte County Sheriff's Department say officers responding to an early morning disturbance at an area hotel found a bowl of overturned pasta and a guest reportedly yelling.
According to reports the incident began when a 38 year-old Valparaiso man, who was staying with friends at the Best Western near Pine Lake, started to play loud music. The man reportedly started shouting profanities at his friends when they asked him to turn down the volume. The Times reports the incident escalated into a shoving match. Police arrived and everyone made up and agreed to be quiet for the rest of their stay.
A couple hours later, police returned as the Valparaiso man had allegedly thrown a large pot of pasta all over a hotel hallway, according to the aarticle.
After failing to quiet down a second time, the man was arrested for disorderly conduct.
