Monday night at Avalon Manor in Merrillville, a new coalition of young professionals in Northwest Indiana called the Emerging Leaders Network hosted a “Laying Tracks for the Future” event focusing on the benefits of the potential South Shore rail line expansion to south Lake County and the need for financial support from local governments.
