The National Weather Service Northern Indiana Office sending out a tweet today saying due to the nature of Monday night's severe weather, they continue to survey damage from those storms. Today a team is scheduled to be out in LaPorte and Starke Counties. So far, ten tornadoes have been confirmed across the northern part of the state. Meteorologists with the Chicago National Weather Service Office confirmed two of those, touching down in northwest Indiana, one southeast of Lowell and another in DeMotte, while another earlier twister traveled from near Grant Park, Illinois, over the state line into Lake County, Indiana, ending southwest of Lowell. Just a little to the east in Marshall County, forecasters with the Northern Indiana office say two tornadoes formed barely a minute apart near Plymouth.
