Multiple departments responded to a fire Tuesday morning at an apartment complex across from Purdue University North Central in Westville. Several families were displaced by the fire that broke out at University Village Apartments off US 421.  There was no word of injuries.  The cause is not yet known.  We had reports of heavy smoke coming from the fire. A collection drive is underway for victims who lost belongings in the blaze.
