The Indiana Department of Health today said there are now 40 cases of fungal meningitis in Indiana linked to a steroid used in back and joint pain injections. State health officials also say there have been two deaths in Indiana, a number that remained unchanged. The Centers for Disease Control says the steroid was produced by a Massachusetts specialty pharmacy....which has recalled the product.
