A Crown Point man has been charged in Lake County Criminal Court with have sexual relations with a minor and videotaping the incidents. The Times reports the 46 year old allegedly began sexually abusing the girl in December of 2010, at the age of 13, until March of 2012, when a family member reportedly suspected abuse. Published reports say, according to court records, a medical doctor confirmed the girl showed signs of sexual abuse, and reportedly, is suffering from post-traumatic stress syndrome. The Crown Point man faces a maximum of up to 50 years in prison if convicted.
