In Valparaiso tonight at 7 (Nov 13, 2012), the city plan commission plans to discuss plans for a business park and what's been described as a luxury apartment complex in Washington Township. There's a request on the agenda to rezone property north of Evans Avenue, south of Vale Park Road, East of State Road 49, and west of Bartz Road, on the east side of the city. The Times has reported construction is proposed to begin next year on the 117-acre development. The area is currently zoned General Residential, according to the meeting's agenda.
