A 34 year old man and a 30 year old woman remain at-large, at last check, after a 37 year old woman was assaulted around 2:30 this morning, on the 25-hundred block of Maryland Street in Gary. Gary Police Corporal Gabrielle King says an argument between the 37 year old woman and the 34 year old man lead to the man calling his ex-girlfriend to beat up the woman. Corporal King says after the woman arrived, both females began fighting, and then the boyfriend got involved in the altercation, which then lead to the ex-girlfriend stabbing the 30 year old woman in the head and leg. King says the woman was able to flee the scene, with shots being fired at her by the ex-girlfriend, which only struck the vehicle. The victim was then able to flag down an officer, and advised the officer of what had transpired. No information is available at this time regarding the extent of the victim's injuries.
