Authorities say a 74-year-old Griffith man was pronounced dead early today after fire broke out at his home in the 400 block of Arbogast. Griffith Fire crews got the call shortly after 2:30 this morning.  The Lake County Coroners office says Maurice Campbell was pronounced dead at his home shortly after 5 am, and Griffith Police, Fire and the State Fire Marshal are investigating.  Griffith Police say there appears to be no indication of foul play.  There is no word on a possible cause at this time. There were no reports of anyone else being hurt.
