This accreditation assessment will be held April 14th through April 17, 2013.
As part of the on-site assessment, agency employees and members of the community are invited to offer comments to the assessors at a public information session on April 16th , 2013 at 6:00 p.m. held in the conference room at the Valparaiso Police Department located at 355 Washington St. or by calling (219) 476-7955 on April 16th, 2013 between the hours of 1:00 and 3:00 p.m.
Telephone comments will be limited to 10 minutes and must address the agency’s ability to comply with CALEA’s standards. A copy of the standards is available at the Valparaiso Police Department by contacting Sergeant Michael McLinn.
