A 53 year old Porter Township man faces numerous charges after he allegedly pointed a handgun at his girlfriend Wednesday night and threatened to kill her and her son because she refused to buy him beer. The Times reports Richard Day has been drinking when the incident occurred and his girlfriend informed officers she grabbed his arm and he fired a shot that went out their kitchen door towards a neighbor's home. According to the article, police confiscated nine vials of steroids from the residence and a total of 26 guns, including the one allegedly used in the incident, which Day reported denied ever pointing at his girlfriend.
