Red Cross Urges Winter Donations

Amer. Red Cross
Now through January 6th, the American Red Cross is encouraging you to participate in their “Give Something that Means Something” winter campaign through the donation of blood or platelets. Officials say historically during the winter months fewer donors take the time to give blood due to competing seasonal activities, celebrations and holiday shopping, so they want to remind you that by doing something like donating, which does not cost you anything, you can give an amazing gift and offer hope to a patient in need.
