A ground breaking ceremony was held today in Buffington Harbor for the final part of the Gary Marina Access road extension project. The project when finished will connect the Interstates and Cline Avenue to the Lake Michigan waterfront. Vice President of American Structurepoint Chris Murphy says access is important to economic development opportunties and the construction of this project will help to facilitate that opportunity. The extension is scheduled to be finished late next year.
