Annual bidding for a lunch with Warren Buffett to benefit a San Francisco charity reached a record $3.5 million, June 8, 2012, beating last year's $2.6 million. The lunch benefits Glide Foundation, affiliated with Glide Memorial Church in San Francisco, which serves meals to the homeless. The winner was not yet revealed. The opening bid was $25,000.
