A tornado touchdown was confirmed in northwest Indiana during Saturday afternoon's storms. The National Weather Service Northern Indiana says the EF1 twister started in the Rolling Prairie area, touching down near the intersection of State Road 2 and County Road 400-East just before 5:30. A barn and unanchored shed were destroyed, a garage wall blown out and trees blown down before the tornado lifted about two-minutes later. The survey data is preliminary as damage investigation continues.
