A police investigation has Colorado St. closed north of US-30 in Hobart.  Police activity that began around 4:00 p.m. this afternoon brought several units to the area, traffic tipsters reporting as many as 24 vehicles from Hobart police, Lake County Sheriff's police and several other law enforcement agencies.  As of 6:30 p.m. Colorado St. remains barricaded by police north of US-30.    As a result, traffic is reportedly backing up both directions of US-30 at this time.
