In Hobart, members of the Marine Corps League Howlin Mad Detachment 93 gather at the Hobart Doughboy statue the last Friday of each month 5pm to remember, out loud, soldiers who've given their lives for our country in Iraq and Afghanistan... and this evening they'll be reading the names of fifteen fallen military personnel, the lowest number of casualties they've read since February 2012 . July marked the third year anniversary date of their monthly ceremony announcing the names at the Doughboy monument at 7th & Main. “Doughboy” was a term used to describe US infantrymen of the American Expeditionary Force during World War One.
