A Center Township man who was reportedly stabbed on Wednesday says a woman asked to use his phone before before allegedly stabbing him. Sgt. Larry La Flower, public information officer of the Porter County Sheriff's Department, says sheriff's police were dispatched to investigate a car in a ditch, with a possible intoxicated woman, before being called to a nearby home. Reports say when officers arrived at the home they found a man had been stabbed in the chest with cuts to his hand and face. Police found the suspect walking nearby and placed her in custody. La Flowers says a blood and urine test on the suspect found cocaine and marijuana in her system.
